Rick Visone (Drums)

Rick Visone is a lifelong resident of the New York Metro area music scene.
While in the Army he served in the United States Military Academy Band at West Point, NY.

Rick studied many years with Mel Lewis and Joe Morello while attending William Paterson College in Wayne, New Jersey. 

His early years featured him in the top hotels in the Catskills in upstate New York, playing shows including Billy Eckstein, Milton Berle, Don Cornell and The Ink Spots. His talents earned him the opportunity to tour with the Lionel Hampton, Glenn Miller, Jimmy Dorsey, Les Elgart & Harry James Orchestras.

Currently he is playing with a number of local large and small bands. He also leads his own 16 piece Big Band and performs in the local New Jersey area for special events, as well as volunteering with local music education programs for young performers.
